CEMEX Philippines Foundation addresses flood problem of adopted school

Inayagan Elementary School in Naga, Cebu, an adopted school of the CEMEX Philippines Foundation, can now say goodbye to the frequent floods that submerge their school grounds.

The school experienced frequent flooding due to the very poor drainage system causing suspension of classes. School authorities were also highly concerned about the health and safety of children during times when the school premises are inundated.

Thus, CEMEX Philippines Foundation immediately addressed the need, and finished the drainage project way ahead of schedule.

Inayagan Principal Desiree Misa was very thankful to the Foundation and believes that the drainage project will now help the students conduct uninterrupted classes during rainy seasons, and maximize their learning time.
