APO Cement and Solid Cement conduct regular activities within the plant and the neighboring communities where it operates. Through its "CEMEX with a Heart Program," CEMEX Philippines implements projects that promote a healthier environment. Tree- planting activities within the plant premises are undertaken to foster awareness and love of nature in the community. Both CEMEX Philippines plants also have nature and marine reserves where different fish, bird and animal species thrive under the care of CEMEX Philippines employees.

Community activities abound in both APO Cement and Solid Cement plants. Both plants are engaged in waste management, medical mission and skills training projects, which are open to members of the local community.

Sponsorship of national projects that promote environmental protection and stewardship are also carried out by CEMEX Philippines, to strongly promote environmental conservation.
