The day's activities were led by Senator Roxas together with CEMEX Philippines President and Asia Cluster Head Jaime Ruiz de Haro, former IMEA* & Asia President Jose Luis Saenz de Miera, and Vice-President for Planning Paul Arcenas.
The day started solemnly with a mass and the unveiling of President Manuel Roxas' bust ; and went to pleasantly energetic, when teachers squeezed in for photo opportunities with Senator Roxas and the CEMEX Executives inside the AVR . The newly inaugurated AVR also became the venue for the video presentation of the life and achievements of President Manuel A. Roxas. As if not enough to fill the day with "Pinoy" local color, the program proper went on with special presentations of folk dances rendered by the students (top, right photo).
In his message to the students, Senator Roxas said, "We should be deeply thankful to CEMEX Philippines Foundation, because even when they did not have the obligation to help your school, they did so generously by providing you with a beautiful Audio Visual Room."
